What to Do
Activities in Marblehead/Salem
Marblehead is a four-square-mile town with many beaches, parks, and history. It is also right next to Salem, which has a ton of history and museums. Whether you like to be out on the water in boats, sit on the beach, visit museums or eat fresh seafood, there are ample things for you to do.
EAT & DRINK
If you like seafood, Marblehead is the place for you! The Landing has a waterfront restaurant with fresh fish dishes that you can have while watching the boats go by in the harbor. Little Harbor Lobster has the best lobster rolls in town, so head on down if you want your lobster fix! Maddie’s Sail loft is our townie bar if you are looking for a real local bar.
PLAY
There are often sailing races in the harbor, so you can enjoy watching those from the parks. If you have a car and are interested in going to Boston, you can go see a Boston Red Sox game!
EXPLORE
The beauty of the beaches and the harbor make for many places to explore. Rent Paddleboards from Riverhead beach and explore the thousands of boats in the harbor! If you are more into history, visit our town hall, or the old town hall.
